Police 'must trust public more'
On BBC Radio 2 Jeremy Vine talked to Louise Casey, the Government Crime and Justice Adviser about police response times.
In her first speech in the new role, she told an audience of senior police officers and council leaders, including several chief constables, they had to have a "huge sense of urgency" about "putting the public first".

Wherever you live, you should now be able to get information by searching for your neighbourhood policing team on the new Direct Government Website

I have been away for a while due to ill health so imagine my dismay to find when I eventually logged on the Watchers that it appears hardly to have been used. Are people getting fed up with Neighbourhood Watch?. I don't think so. There are great facilities on this site for communication with like minded people but no one appears to be using them. Lets see some more entries on the forum and blogs, there must be someone out there with something to say or are we all now satisfied and happy with our lot. I don't think so. Lets see some more support for this very good and informative site. Come on talk to me.
