Hassocks NHW Crimefeed: On 18/1 four incidents occurred in Brighton and Crawley where callers posing as police officers have gained entry and stolen cash from property occupied by elderly residents. Mid Sussex residents are being advised to be on their guard in case they widen their area further. The incidents are believed to have been carried out by the same gang, described as: Suspect 1: Possibly Asian male aged in 20s, slim built 5' 6", short dark hair, wearing blue/black fleece jacket, shirt and tie and dark trousers. Suspect 2: White male aged 20-30, slim, similar clothes plus hat and having local accent. Suspect 3: White male, 35-40, well built and local accent.
