Hassocks NHW Crimefeed: On 18/1 four incidents occurred in Brighton and Crawley where callers posing as police officers have gained entry and stolen cash from property occupied by elderly residents. Mid Sussex residents are being advised to be on their guard in case they widen their area further. The incidents are believed to have been carried out by the same gang, described as: Suspect 1: Possibly Asian male aged in 20s, slim built 5' 6", short dark hair, wearing blue/black fleece jacket, shirt and tie and dark trousers. Suspect 2: White male aged 20-30, slim, similar clothes plus hat and having local accent. Suspect 3: White male, 35-40, well built and local accent. South Yorkshire Police:

A second man has been arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a Polish bakery worker in Swinton.

A red VW Golf has also been recovered after yesterday+rsquo;s appeal from detectives investigating the case.

Agnieszka Dziegielewska, 30, was found dead at her home address on Horsefair Close off Temperance Street, Swinton, last Thursday, 28 January 2010.

The 31-year-old Doncaster man arrested last Friday, 29 January, has now been released on bail pending further enquiries.

A second man, a 32-year-old from Mexborough, has been arrested today, also on suspicion of murder, and is currently assisting police with enquiries.

The red VW Golf was found yesterday evening, Saturday, 30 January, in West Melton and a forensic examination of the car is due to take place.

Detective Superintendent Colin Fisher, the Senior Investigating Officer leading the case, said: +quot;I would like to thank the public for their help so far but wish to renew my appeal for information, especially anyone who saw Agnieszka on Wednesday evening or at any time on Thursday.+quot;
